This hotel is amazing with so much character and loaded with antiques on every floor. The staff was great, breakfast was fulfilling, room was great, bed was so comfortable. It was decorated so well for Christmas, so it really put you in the mood for the season. Be sure you sit by one of the two fireplaces downstairs with a cup of tea to take in the feeling of the hotel. The cookies in the afternoon were delicious. You'll love riding on the elevator. I would stay here again in an instant if I'm back in the city again. It is near the end of the California trolley line, so you can get to Chinatown or other parts of the city.

The hotel is all about the vibe. It’s not Hyatt/Pullmann fancy, but it’s a lot more. Historic building reminded me of old hotels in London. The location is very good, but the personnel - that’s a real jewel. Incredibly friendly and welcoming, supportive and nice. The breakfast is simple but everything is tasty. I’d say I missed veggies but everything there was good. Also there’s 24/7 tea and coffee stand with fresh cookies, a spacious lobby with fireplaces and victorian furniture. In overall, this hotel was a big part of our SF experience.

The hotel lived up to its image as a grand old establishment, and the furnishings and decor were lavish and extravagant! The hotel was clean and met all our needs very well. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the car provided in the mornings was very handy until we knew our way around a bit better. The hotel has a lovely piano, and some quirky USPs like serving mid-afternoon sherry and cookies, as well as some other nice touches which made our stay even more relaxed and welcoming.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is always someone in the front to unlock the front door since it remains lock most of the time for security reasons. The breakfast was nice and the breakfast staff was very attentive. The room and hotel overall has a great vintage Victorian decor. The location was very convenient near Japantown and very safe and quiet. Next time we come back to San Franciso, we plan on staying at the Queen Anne Hotel again!

Really sweet 18th-19th century charm with pretty authentic furniture and artwork. Like a different world. Many sofas to sit on, fireplace. It was cozy and the guests were nice, staff very helpful. The bed was large and comfy, we didn't specifically ask for a baby bed but got that. It was quiet so for relaxation it was right. It was great the hotel was kid-friendly and there were not many things kids could damage. Parking lot was available.
